Missable Shrines Warning

Only one Shrine in the entire game is technically missable: O-ogim Shrine on the Great Sky Island. If you use Ultrahand to completely destroy the broken log bridge leading to the Shrine entrance before activating it, you can softlock yourself out of the entrance until you reload the area. To avoid this: Activate O-ogim Shrine immediately when you reach it during the Great Sky Island tutorial. If you already destroyed the bridge, just fast travel away and return – the log will respawn after 2 in-game days.

What Are The Rewards For Completing All 152 Shrines?

Every Shrine you complete gives you 1 Light of Blessing. Four Lights of Blessing can be exchanged at any Goddess Statue for 1 extra Heart Container or 1 extra Stamina Vessel. Completing all 152 Shrines gives you:

1. 152 Lights of Blessing = 38 total upgrades (enough to get 30 Hearts + 3 Stamina Wheels, the maximum possible in the base game)

2. Hidden reward: After turning in all 152 Lights, talk to any Goddess Statue to unlock the Greater Blessed Blessing, a permanent buff that adds +1 extra heart container to your total, bringing your maximum possible hearts to 31

3. Xbox/Steam achievement Hero of the Kingdom (100 Gamerscore)

4. Full completion of the Shrine portion of your Hyrule Compendium

Is it worth it? Absolutely. 30 hearts + 3 stamina wheels is game-changing for endgame boss fights and exploration, and that extra 31st heart can save you from a oneshot by Ganondorf's final form. You also don't need to get any Shrines from the Depths to hit the maximum, so this guide is all you need.

1. Great Sky Island (19 Shrines)

1. Ukouh Shrine - Coordinates: (0322, -0139, 1529) – Location: Starting area right after the exit from the Underground Temple. Solution: Learn Ultrahand, build a bridge across the gap, open the chest, claim the Light of Blessing.

2. Nachoyah Shrine - Coordinates: (0111, -0929, 1432) – Location: Southwest of the starting plateau. Solution: Learn Fuse, fuse a blade to a rock to break the stone wall, open the chest, claim reward.

3. Gutanbac Shrine - Coordinates: (0705, -1111, 1584) – Location: North of the starting plateau, on the snowy slope. Solution: Learn Ascend, use Ascend through the three platform puzzle to reach the exit.

4. In-isa Shrine - Coordinates: (0091, -1605, 1399) – Location: Southwest edge of Great Sky Island. Solution: Learn Rewind, use Rewind to reverse a falling block to reach the exit.

5. O-ogim Shrine - Coordinates: (1015, -1110, 1601) – Location: Northeast Great Sky Island, across a broken log bridge. Solution: Blessed Shrine – just grab the reward. Missable warning: Activate this before destroying the log bridge!

6. Mayausiy Shrine - Coordinates: (1007, -0765, 1594) – Location: Central north Great Sky Island. Solution: Building puzzle – Fuse three log segments into a 3-length beam to hit the switch on the far wall. Stand on the end to weigh it down.

7. Jikumd Shrine - Coordinates: (0840, -0195, 1517) – Location: East Great Sky Island. Solution: Combat shrine – defeat 2 Soldier Constructs with Ascend attacks to break their poise.

8. Domizuin Shrine - Coordinates: (1302, -0640, 1512) – Location: Southeast Great Sky Island. Solution: Ultrahand gate puzzle – stack two stones on each pressure plate at the same time to open the exit.

9. Jiukoum Shrine - Coordinates: (1338, -1038, 1508) – Location: Southern Great Sky Island. Solution: Shortcut trick: Build a single 3-log board and attach it diagonally to the starting frame to glide straight to the exit in 10 seconds, instead of building multiple separate sections.

10. Etsu-ko Shrine - Coordinates: (0466, -1660, 1460) – Location: Southwest Great Sky Island near the edge. Solution: Orb rolling puzzle – use Rewind on the orb to stop it from falling off the track.

11. Tukarok Shrine - Coordinates: (0620, -1460, 1515) – Location: West central Great Sky Island. Solution: Ball on a rope puzzle – Fuse a torch to a stick to burn the rope holding the ball, then roll it into the hole.

12. Sijomu Shrine - Coordinates: (0100, -0550, 1540) – Location: North central Great Sky Island. Solution: Ascend ceiling puzzle – climb to the top of the first pillar, then glide to the exit, no Ascend needed to skip the puzzle.

13. Ihen-a Shrine - Coordinates: (0593, -0323, 1548) – Location: East central Great Sky Island. Solution: Moving platform puzzle – use Rewind to align the platforms for a straight jump to the exit.

14. Simosiwaku Shrine - Coordinates: (1133, -0193, 1473) – Location: Northeast Great Sky Island. Solution: Combat shrine – defeat 3 Soldier Constructs with a spear, use Ascend to stun the highest level one.

2. Necluda Shrine? No, Orochium Shrine - Coordinates: (-2422, 2645, 0239) – Location: North Hebra near the snowfield stable. Solution: Stalagmite jumping puzzle – use Ascend up through the stalagmites to reach the top exit.

3. Ritsuka Zomu Shrine - Coordinates: (-2257, 2122, 0210) – Location: Hebra South Summit. Solution: Combat shrine – defeat 2 ice Lizalfos with fire arrows, keep moving to avoid being frozen.

4. Tu Ka'loy Shrine - Coordinates: (-3534, 1755, 0228) – Location: Northwest Hebra near the border. Solution: Blessed Shrine, entrance is behind a frozen waterfall – melt it with a fire arrow.

5. Sibajitak Shrine - Coordinates: (-2954, 2935, 0301) – Location: Hebra Headspring. Solution: Ice block puzzle – use Ultrahand to stack ice blocks to reach the high exit platform.

6. Zakusu Shrine - Coordinates: (-2049, 2661, 0268) – Location: East Hebra near the Tabantha border. Solution: Boss fight vs Flux Construct I. Hit the core with 1 fused bomb arrow for 84 damage, then dogde the ground slam to avoid 35 damage (enough to oneshot 5 heart Link). Attack the core 3 times to stagger and kill it.

7. Chichimu Shrine - Coordinates: (-1868, 2361, 0350) – Location: Tabantha Hebra border near Piper Ridge. Solution: Moving ice puzzle – use Rewind to stop the ice floe from moving away so you can jump across.

8. Mayaotaki Shrine - Coordinates: (-1534, 3243, 0190) – Location: Northeast Hebra near the coastline. Solution: Floating platform puzzle – use Ultrahand to attach a sail to the platform to catch the wind across the gap.
